The first and single most important step and MUST DO when
considering the establishment of a Mens 12 step weekend, is to gather a group of
5 or 6 men that are willing to function as an operating committee.
The men will be asked to make a 4 year comitment to the group. Without this
group there will be NO weekend. There is just too much work and organization
that goes into a hosting a sucessful Mens 12 Step weekend.
Ideally a man with 5 or more years of sobriety and is willing to
get “his hands dirty” and grow in AA service is your
man.
